As 2016 draws to a close after a successful year of growth in the economy, 2017 looks set to be even bigger and better. With that, Voice over IP and Cloud Services look set to experience their biggest surge in demand in 2017. As businesses get busier and start to invest in infrastructure and technology to help increase productivity and facilitate growth they are going straight for the cloud.
Welltel are delighted with the recent launch of an exciting partnership with Polycom aimed at boosting the adoption of VoIP phone systems among Irish businesses and helping to reduce the cost of the initial investment by offering a Trade in & Upgrade scheme. The ‘out with the old in with the new’ initiative will spend up to €250,000 helping companies remove outdated technology all over Ireland as it’s estimated that over 80% of businesses are still using traditional analogue or digital phone lines.
Speaking of the partnership, Welltel MD Ross Murray said: “We are thrilled to partner with Polycom to help modernise Irish businesses and help them with the transition into the future of communications by removing old, redundant technology and replacing it with modern, enterprise level technology that can reduce costs and increase productivity. The initial investment involved in upgrading an entire communications system is usually substantial. We recognised that this can be a prohibiting factor in upgrading any system especially for smaller businesses and this is what lead us to developing a trade in deal to give every business the chance to modernise.”
